produce concrete with exposed finishes ranging from a very light etching of the concrete exposing only the tips of the aggregate. The size of the aggregate can also be varied to suit the application. At the other end of the manufacturing process the exposed concrete can be deeply etched commonly called heavy etching which results in a rough tough looking finish offering excellent resistance to environmental aesthetic degradation.

The picture to the right shows a casting which is designed to aesthetically enhance the supporting girders of a large building. The casting has two finished applied to it. The main body is of a medium exposed aggregate using a 10mm aggregate.

Like exposed aggregate, polished concrete allows the aggregate beneath to express itself giving a quality finish. The smooth area shown more clearly on the close up shot is concrete washed with acid providing a very smooth, clean look to the concrete.
